• Start of the last menstrual cycle
• Expected date of the next menstrual cycle.

You have to arrive in Israel on the first day of your menstrual cycle, to be examined by the doctor and commence the stimulation treatment on the 3rd or 4th day of the cycle.The treatment as a whole is divided into two stages.

Stage one

• Examination of both spouses before commencing the IVF treatment,
• Extended blood panel - general, biochemical, coagulation, hormonal profile, lipid profile, Virology (HIV, HBsAg, HCV Ab, Rubella IgG, CMV IgG and IgM, toxoplasma IgG and IgM, VDRL);
• Urine test (total, biochemical, inoculation of culture);
• Gynecologist examination, breast examination, vaginal ultrasound
• Spouse: Enhanced blood - general, biochemical, HIV, HBsAg, HCV Ab;
• Semen analysis

The cost of this phase is $ 2,750, duration 3 working days.

Stage two

A spouse may donate the sperm and return home.At this stage procedures include:

• Ongoing consultations of the treating IVF physician ;
• Ambulatory monitoring of the stimulation process - laboratory tests + ultrasound (every 3-4 day, as required);
• Removal of eggs under ultrasound guidance (1 day hospitalization procedure);
• The cost of the mentioned procedures $ 8700
Further procedures:
• Preparation of the sperm for fertilization;
• Egg fertilization
• Transfer of embryos into the uterus;

The cost of the mentioned procedures $2750.

Additional costs may include:

• Medications have to be bought by the patient (from 1100$)
• ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) (from 2090$)
• Preliminary TESE tests (EKG, blood tests, lung x-ray) – 570$
• TESE (Testicular sperm extraction) (7590$)

ICSI manipulation is performed in the following cases:

• Abnormalities in semen
• Previously failed IVF treatment
• Women over 40 years of age
• Small number of mature oocytes (less than 4)
